Building Permits Online Contractor Portal
This site provides access to the services provided to registered contractors by the City Of Federal Heights.
During City Hall's temporary closure during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the Building Division continues to work normal business hours through this virtual format. Permits are still required prior to commencing any work. Most inspections are still being conducted; however, some non-essential inspections are being temporarily deferred. Non-essential inspections will be postponed - windows, water heaters, boilers, etc. Please check back at a later date for when these are being resumed.
Exterior inspections, non-occupied and new construction projects will continue to be inspected. We will not be entering occupied homes to conduct inspections but will implement other methods of inspection. An inspector will reach out to the requestor the day of inspection. Proof of code compliance will be asked of the homeowner or contractor via pictures, facetime, or other means as deemed acceptable by the building official, if feasible.
